After-prom participants get round of applause
On Saturday, April 27, New Albany High School students attended prom and after-prom festivities. Congratulations to the 300-plus New Albany students who attended after-prom. By choosing food, fun, games and music over other activities, you have set a great example for others to follow.
A special thanks to Vicki Lete and her group of volunteer parents for their work in organizing and hosting after-prom. Vicki, the other parents and the New Albany High School students brought after-prom back in a big way while creating a safe and exciting experience!
Lastly, many businesses and individuals in the community recognized the importance of this event and donated generously. After-prom would not have been such a success without your kindness and ability to see the big picture.
Congrats to all for promoting healthy activities for New Albany High School students and making our community a great place to live, work and play.

Nonprofit head credits 1si for assistance
We, Transformation Network, a Christian nonprofit organization specializing in work force development and staffing, want to publicly acknowledge the many contributions a local organization has made toward the success of our business.
Kathleen Crowley, senior director of business retention and expansion at One Southern Indiana, claims “doing business is all about making connections — connections to potential customers, ideas and funding.” From our prospective, One Southern Indiana has been just that connector. They have aided in the establishment of our new office in Southern Indiana, and in providing us with a personalized approach that has allowed us to accomplish in weeks what would have taken us months, if not longer.
In a sense, they have helped us “fast-forward” our objectives, allowing us to concentrate directly on the businesses we plan to serve. We believe the growth of manufacturing in the Southern Indiana area is due largely in part to One Southern Indiana’s comprehensive approach to Economic Development. 1si is an absolute asset to the entire local community, bringing solutions to existing business as well as new ones like Transformation Network.
Thank you Kathleen and to your entire team at One Southern Indiana. We applaud your efforts and your encouragement.
