Museum president thanks volunteers

The Board of Directors of the Clark County Museum would like to thank the dozens of volunteers who have shown support for the museum, whether you donated money, artifacts, talent or muscle, your efforts are very much appreciated.

Volunteers have helped us continue our mission to acquire, curate, display and interpret the history of Clark County, Indiana, by helping us move artifacts out of room 408 at the county courthouse and into storage; renovating the Howard house at 721 Michigan Ave. in Jeffersonville, removing destructive trees from the yard, cutting the grass, spraying fleas and weeds, picking up trash, removing fencing, tearing off the inappropriate front porch of the Howard house and on and on.

We are so encouraged by the outpouring of public support for the museum and we can’t say thank you enough.
