Ministry chairwoman gives thanks to community

Greetings and a Happy New Year to each of you.

On behalf of The Community Needs Ministries, which consists of our 13 area churches. I would like to say thank you to each individual, church and business who sponsored and shopped for the children, donated monetary funds and extended love and good will toward those who were in need this past year in the New Washington area.

Out of your generosity, we were able to provide a special blessing for more than 100 children in 2012. I would especially like to extend my gratitude and ask God’s blessing upon the New Washington High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams for their hard work in assembling food baskets and distributing them to the recipients for this important ministry. Thanks to Coaches May, White, Holloway and Abbott. They have been most helpful to this ministry in 2012.

I would also like to give special thanks to these individuals, businesses and students who sponsored our Community Needs Ministry as listed here: The New Washington State Bank and staff; The Greater Clark Administration Building; Kroger; The Dollar General Store of New Washington; Z & Z Enterprises; New Washington Girl Scout Troop 665; Four Quarters; Charlestown Chiropractic; Doug Ellen and Blake Burgin Farms; Walmart; New Washington High School softball team; New Washington Elementary School Student Council; Charlestown Veterinary Clinic; New Washington High School Fellowship of Christian Athletes; Ladies Auxiliary American Legion; Christy O’Neal and the Clark County F.O.P. Auxiliary 181; Broughton Trucking; The Junior Leaders; Stephanie Caldwell; The Mariners; and Dave Reynolds and Jan Boyer Truck Farms

If I have omitted anyone in error, please accept my deepest apology. None of this would be possible without Our Lord Jesus Christ, who has given us the resources and ability to perform this great ministry. May the Lord continue to bless  you and keep you as you determine to give to others who are less fortunate in the coming year.
