FRIDAY AT 7 P.M.: Portion of Spaghetti Junction closed

LOUISVILLE — LOUISVILLE – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet crews and Louisville Metro police  shut down a portion of Spaghetti Junction after receiving a call about a possible crack Friday evening, according to WAVE 3, a newsgathering partner of the News and Tribune.

According to MetroSafe, the ramp from Interstate 65 north to I-64 west was shut down to allow inspectors to take a closer look at the elevated roadway.

KYTC inspectors initially arrived on the scene around 6 p.m. Friday and appeared to be checking the underside of the bridge.
