New Albany bank evacuated due to gas leak

NEW ALBANY — PNC Bank, at the intersection of Green Valley Road and State Street in New Albany, had to be evacuated around 3 p.m. Thursday due to a gas leak.

Firefighters were called to the scene after workers accidentally hit a line near Knable Lane off Green Valley Road. There were no injuries.

Vectren crews were called to the scene to repair the line.
