Charity event for cancer patient Saturday

Sarah Kerberg is wife of Floyd County Sheriff's deputy

NEW ALBANY — A charity benefit for Sarah Kerberg will be held from 7 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Aug. 31, at The Grand, 138 E. Market St., New Albany.

Sarah is the wife of Jason Kerberg, a Floyd County Sheriff’s deputy. She was recently told that her cancer had returned and she had only four months to live.

Sarah wants to go on a cruise with her husband and two small children while she can. Proceeds from Saturday’s event will help make Sarah’s dream a reality.

Tickets for the event are $15 each or $20 a couple and can be purchased at the door. There will be live music from Off The Hook and a DJ.
