Open exhibits at the fair

The Clark County 4-H Fair will again be offering Open Class Exhibition classes. Categories offered are: woodcraft, basic craft, fine arts, needlecraft, photography, foods (cakes, pies and candy); scrapbooking, garden, Christmas at the Fair, flowers and flower arrangement, sewing and quilting.

An entry fee of $5 per entry per category is required. Each exhibitor is limited to two entries in the same category, but may exhibit in as many categories as they desire. Eligible participants must be 19 years of age or older and not a 4-H member or a professional. Any item that has been previously exhibited at the fair is ineligible for exhibit again. Articles made for competition must have been made by the exhibitor.

Entries are to be checked in on July 11 from 4 to 7 p.m. (other than foods, which will be entered July 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.) in the community building at the 4-H fairgrounds.
