Presentation to cover Holy Land visit

The Jeffersonville Township Public Library will once again be hosting the co-pastors of Jeffersonville’s St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, the Rev. Donald B. Hill and the Rev. Nancy Woodworth-Hill from 2 to 3 p.m. Jan. 25. They will be presenting part two of their recent Holy Land trip, which will cover Israel and Jordan.

Their presentation will include the following: Bethany Beyond the Jordan; Madaba; Mount Nebo; Scythopolis; the Dead Sea & Qumran; Shepherds’ Fields and The Church of the Nativity (Bethlehem); and various sites in Jerusalem.

CLARKSVILLE

Little Theatre holding auditions

Clarksville Little Theatre will hold auditions for “Love, Sex and the IRS” at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 20, and 7 p.m., Monday, Jan. 21.

The cast requires two females in their 20s; one female age 45-50; two males in their 20'; and three males ages 40-60.

Auditions will comprise a cold reading from the script.

Performance dates will be at 8 p.m. March 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23 and 2:30 p.m. March 17.

Health screenings offered at church

Residents living in and around the Floyds Knobs community can be screened to reduce their risk of having a stroke or bone fracture. St. Mary Navilleton Catholic Church will host Life Line Screening Thursday, Jan. 24, at the church, 7500 Navilleton Road, Floyds Knobs. Screenings will be my appointment only.

Aglow Fellowship to meet

New Albany Aglow Fellowship will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Covenant Community Fellowship, 727 Rolling Creek Drive, New Albany.

Fellowship time is 6:30 to 7 p.m.

Worship Leader Dorrene Beck will lead the group in Praise and Worship.
