Boil water advisory issued for some Rural Membership customers

CLARK COUNTY — Rural Membership Water Corp. has issued a boil water advisory for the south side of its system, according to a press release.

The advisory has been issued due to a water main break on U.S. 31. Customers are being advised to boil water for at least 5 minutes before it is consumed.

Those affected include the area south of the Henryville Volunteer Fire Department near Vest Road.

The boil water advisory is expected to be in effect until at least Thursday.

Rural Membership advises customers to continue to boil their water until an all clear notification is given.
