Harrison County man arrested for meth charges in Louisville

LOUISVILLE — Officers were dispatched Saturday to check on a wanted subject when they observed a man exit the rear of a house in the 300 block of North 23rd Street and appear to hide something.

According to police reports, officers found a needle and pipe in Robert Dayton's front pocket. Dayton, 30, lives in the 12,000 block of Sunset Strip Road in Laconia, Indiana.

Dayton told police that he hid three bags of meth in the kitchen closet. Police also found scales and items commonly used to manufacture Meth, according to a WAVE 3 News report.

Charges include manufacturing meth, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
