Historical society meets Monday

The Clark’s Grant Historical Society will meet 7:30 p.m., Monday, June 16, at the Charlestown Public Library, 51 Clark Road, Charlestown.

The program, titled “Prince Madoc and the Falls of the Ohio,” will be presented by Jeremy Beavin Interpretive Naturalist. Jeremy has been with the Falls of the Ohio for 14 years. As a certified Interpretive Guide, he shares the stories of the Falls of the Ohio and Charlestown State Park with visitors from all over the world. Born and raised in Southern Indiana, Jeremy has a special connection to the natural and cultural history of our area.
