Recycling site at North Annex in New Albany closed

NEW ALBANY — A water main break on the grounds of the North Annex, 3005 Grant Line Road New Albany, has forced the recycling site at the facility to close until further notice.

The water main break does not involved the building, since utilities have been cut off to the site, but does affect the parking lot.

The North Annex, which sits in front of Sam Peden Community Park, has been empty for two years and used to house the Floyd County Youth Shelter and Solid Waste office, which has been moved to the Pine View Government Building.
