Walk this Cuvée: Fifth annual Wine Walk and Shop event being held tonight

What has become a popular downtown event, the Wine, Walk and Shop is again expected to draw large crowds.

“We generally have between 500-600 at the event,” Ellis said.

He added that this year organizers are anticipating crowds closer to 600.

Tickets are $15 in advance and the price goes up to $20 per person on the night of the event. The registration tent will be located inside the Glossbrenner Garden at the corner of Spring and Chestnut streets. All attendees, even those who bought tickets in advance, must stop by the registration table on the night of the event to have their ID checked and receive their wristband, program and wine glass before they can participate in the event.

On-street parking is available downtown and in public lots at Chestnut Street, next to Preservation Station, and on the corner of Spring and Market streets.
