The open house will allow those interested to gather more information about Velocity Indiana and the business accelerator program as well as check out the location and its innovative workspace. 

The facility is in Water Tower Square at the foot of the Clark Memorial Bridge. The building was originally the passenger car finishing facility for The Ohio Falls Car and Locomotive Company, a company founded prior to the Civil War.  

Applications for the accelerator program are currently being accepted and the due date for submission is April 14. Selected companies will be notified by the end of April.

UTICA

Fish Fry will help cemetery

The Utica Hillcrest Cemetery Association will sponsor a fish fry, 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 12, at the Utica Community Center.

The menu will include fish, fries or baked potato, slaw, dessert and drink, $8. A kids menu, hot dog, fries, dessert and drink, $5. Carryout available. A raffle on a flat-screen television will also take place.

All proceeds benefit the upkeep of the cemetery. If you have a loved one buried at the cemetery, please support the Cemetery Association.
