NEW ALBANY

Holy Family to present ‘Endless Summer’

The Holy Family theatre group will present “Endless Summer” Jan. 18-19, at Marchino Hall, 129 W. Daisy Lane, New Albany. It will be the group’s 29th production.

The show is from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday’s performance is family night and the Saturday production is for adults 21-and-over.

The doors open both nights at 6:45 p.m. Recommended donation is $5 for adults and $3 for high school age and younger.

CHARLESTOWN

Rose Island players honor the Bard

Rose Island’s production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) will be held Jan. 25, 26, 27 and Feb. 1 and 2, at the Charlestown Arts and Enrichment Center, 999 Water St., Charlestown. 

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday. Special “dinner-and-a-show” tickets are available for the Jan. 26 and Feb. 1 performances. The dinner before the show will be provided by the Charlestown Senior Citizens and will be served at 6 p.m. 

Ticket prices for the “dinner-and-a-show” option are $25. Tickets for the show only are $10 for nonmembers, $9 for members, and $8 for groups of 10 or more and for students with valid school identification. 

For reservations call 812-289-1329. All major credit cards are accepted. Tickets for the show only may be purchased at the door. However, reservations are required for the “dinner-and-a-show” performances and need to be made by today.

 

LOUISVILLE

For Love of Music at The Olmstead

The Louisville Youth Choir, artists in residence at Sacred Heart School for the Arts, will host its For Love of Music dinner and silent auction from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, at The Olmstead, 3701 Frankfort Ave., in Louisville.

The event will feature a four-course meal and live entertainment. Tickets are $60 per person. A table for eight is available for $460.
