Purdue hosting pesticide program
Purdue Extension will once again host a fall program for private pesticide applicators needing recertification credits. Dr. Fred Whitford will speak on “The Impact of Water Quality on Pesticide Performance” and “Keeping the Trailer Connected to the Truck”.
The program will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, in the Food Stand Building at the Clark County 4-H Fairgrounds, 9608 Ind. 62, Charlestown. This will be a brown bag lunch session, so participants are encouraged to bring their own meals. Extension will provide drinks and dessert. There is no cost to attend the session, but those wishing to receive PARP credit need to bring $10 and their licenses. Register by calling the Extension office at 812-256-4591.

Providence to present children’s show
Our Lady of Providence Jr.-Sr. High School will present its fall children’s show “Twelve Dancing Princesses” in the Robinson Auditorium at 7 p.m. today, Nov. 8, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10.
Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $10 each for adults and $5 each for children grades kindergarten through 12. Seating is general admission.
