Website to offer help for prescription drug abuse

INDIANAPOLIS — A website intended to help consumers recognize symptoms of prescription drug addiction is ready to go live on the Internet.

The new website, www.BitterPill.IN.gov, will offer information on where to go for help.

BitterPill.IN.gov will be sponsoring the Indiana State Fair on Friday. The Attorney General’s office and the Indiana Prescription Drug Abuse Prevention Task Force will sponsor a booth offering information about prescription drug abuse.

Attorney General Greg Zoeller and state and local health officials will join the task force at the Indiana State Fair Friday morning to begin a statewide public awareness campaign.
