2014 Primary Election Voters' Guide

eEdition now available

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — The best step you can take as a voter is to be as informed as possible before casting a ballot. The News and Tribune is again here to help.

In the coming pages of the 2014 Primary Election Voters’ Guide, you’ll find responses from candidates in races in Clark and Floyd counties. The questionnaire responses are verbatim from the candidates. There was no editing done, only a spell-check by editors.

We believe this is one of the best ways you can learn about the candidates in the May 6 primary. We also have been publishing staff-produced previews for key contested races — including hot races for sheriff in both counties — and will continue to do so before Election Day.

We hope you take some time over the next few days and read what the candidates have to say on these pages — in their words.

Also of note, this is the first year the News and Tribune posted the questionnaires online. We feel it went more smoothly this way and will use the same format for the general election in November, with a few tweaks.

Let me know at the email address or phone number below if you are a candidate and have feedback or suggestions for the November election.

Now that you’ve got the Voters’ Guide in your hands, you’re ready to go to the polls. Happy voting.
