NEWS AND TRIBUNE BRIEFS — For April 20-21

SOUTHERN INDIANA

Voting centers the subject of meeting

The South Central Indiana League of Women Voters will host a discussion on voting centers at 7 p.m. Monday, April 22, at the New Albany-Floyd County Public Library.

Speakers include Barbara Haas, Clark County Clerk, and Linda Moeller, Floyd County Clerk, to discuss and answer questions. This is open to the public.

The South Central Indiana League of Women Voters was organized in July 2010 as a nonpartisan organization focusing on voter awareness by educating on public policy. The goal is to play an active role in conversation about public policy and voting laws for Clark, Floyd and Harrison counties. New members are accepted at any time. For more information, please contact Teresa Perkins at 502-594-2301.
