CLARK COUNTY

4-H enrollment underway

The enrollment period for Clark County 4-H Club is open through April 15, and current members are reminded that they must re-enroll annually.

Enrollment can be completed either online or in person. To enroll in person, visit 9608 Ind. 62, Charlestown. To enroll online, visit clarkcounty4h.com.

Enrollment fees are free for children in kindergarten through second grade and $25 for children in grades 3-12. The maximum a family will be charged is $75, regardless of the number of children enrolled.

Checks and money orders are acceptable forms of payment, but must be made payable to Purdue CES Education Fund.

Library to show new movie

The Charlestown Public Library will sponsor action movie Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. April 14 at the library, 51 Clark Road, Charlestown.

GEORGETOWN

Optimist Club holding craft fair

The Georgetown Optimist Cub is hosting a vendor/craft fair from noon to 4 p.m. April 13 at the Georgetown Optimist Clubhouse, 8260 Ind. 64, Georgetown.

More than 25 vendors and crafters are offering their wares, just in time for Easter.

A concession booth will be open. Donations will be accepted for the new Optimist 4-H Archery Club. Call 812-951-3142 for more information.

NEW ALBANY

German students hosting pancake breakfast

German students from New Albany High School will be hosting a pancake breakfast at Applebee’s, 3030 Grant Line Road, New Albany, from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 12.

Tickets are $7 for all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage. Proceeds will go toward the cost of the student’s Germany trip which they are taking in October.

Learn to eat healthy on a budget

The New Albany-Floyd County Public Library will host the monthly Midday Meet & Mingle: Eating Healthy on a Budget at 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 7, in the Strassweg Auditorium.

Amy Brown, registered dietitian from Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, will be the speaker. The event is free and open to the public. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
