Light snow expected tonight, into Wednesday morning

National Weather Service calling for as much as 2 inches of snow, preceded by rain

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — Light snow is expected to start tonight and continue into Wednesday morning and could bring 2 inches of accumulation, the National Weather Service announced Monday afternoon.

“The Wednesday morning commute will be negatively impacted by this light snow,” the NWS said. The chance of snow is 70 percent.

Before that, showers were expected off and on today, with a quarter- to a half-inch of rain expected. A high of 46 is in the forecast.

The low overnight tonight is projected at 30, and the high Wednesday is forecasted at 40. Wind gusts as high as 23 are possible Wednesday.

Highs temperatures are expected to increase the rest of the week and into the weekend. The NWS is calling for a high of 58 on Saturday and 62 Sunday.
