Family fun day at the library

The Jeffersonville Township Public Library would like to say thank you to the community at our annual Family Fun Day.

This year’s event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 21, at the Clarksville Branch of the Jeffersonville Township Public, 1312 Eastern Blvd., Clarksville. Family Fun Day is held in September because September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, and the library reminds families that a library card is one of the most important cards in your wallet.

Everything at Family Fun Day is free and includes: musical entertainment, carnival games, a bounce house, a balloon animal artist, temporary tattoo booth, sidewalk chalk, a Friends of the Library Book Sale and movies in the library. Local fire and police departments will be present, as well, showing off their vehicles and providing fingerprinting for children. Lunch will include a hot dog, popcorn, popsicles and bottled water, and will be prepared and served by The Rotary Club of Clarksville.
