Lane closures start Thursday

Rolling closures will begin Thursday night on Interstates 65 and 265.

The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to set steel box trusses over I-65 and I-265 during the overnight hours Thursday, according to a press release. Motorists may experience delays in the outside lanes between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. on northbound I-65, in the right lane, at the 2.8 mile marker. Rolling closures will also be in effect on eastbound I-265, in the right lane, at the 5.4 mile marker.

The box trusses are being set for installation of new digital dynamic message boards that will inform the public of traffic incidents and other concerns.
