INDOT to close lane of I-65 at 52-mile marker for repairs

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — The Indiana Department of Transportation plans to close the southbound right lane of Interstate 65, near the 52-mile marker, for several days beginning Sunday night in order to complete pavement repairs.

Traffic will be restricted to a single southbound lane for about one mile at the 52-mile marker.

The lane restriction is set to begin at 9 p.m. Sunday night and remain in place until Thursday night.

Message boards are being placed at I-65 locations north of the worksite to alert motorists of the lane closure and providing the option of an alternate route at the Taylorsville (Exit 76) and first Seymour (Exit 55) exits.

Inclement weather could impact the timeline for the lane closure.
