Kids can learn etiquette
Floyd County 4-H is offering “Clover Manners Matter,” a series of classes to teach young people the importance of knowing and using proper etiquette in various situations.
The first five sessions are geared toward youth in grades 7-12 and will meet on Mondays beginning Aug. 19, with no meeting on Labor Day, at the Floyd County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2818 Green Valley Road in New Albany. The cost is $35 per youth.

Audition for Youth Choir
Auditions for the Louisville Youth Choir’s 46th season will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Aug. 20, 22 and 27 at Sacred Heart School for the Arts, Angela Hall, building 17 at 3105 Lexington Road on the Ursuline Campus, Louisville.
The 2013-14 Louisville Youth Choir will include Primary Choir, grade one through three students (nonauditioned session); Chorale, fourth through ninth grade students (auditioned, beginning and intermediate treble voices); Kantorei, grades eight through 12 students (auditioned, intermediate mixed ensemble); and Les Chambres, sixth through 12th grade students (auditioned, advance treble voices). Students will perform in four concerts: a fall concert, a December Christmas festival, a March spring concert, and an Arts-In-Action Pops concert.
