Weather forecast: Widespread freeze imminent

Lows Thursday likely into the 20s

LOUISVILLE — We will be tracking two systems the next couple of mornings that could give parts of the area of few snowflakes mixed in with the rain. Scattered rain showers will move in after midnight tonight with lows near 40.

A few flakes far north are possible Wednesday morning. Another system will pass through Thursday with another chance for a rain/snow mix. Then we get into the real deal of cold.

Lows Thursday night likely will dip into the 20s, Therefore a freeze watch has already been posted for Friday to give everyone a heads up.


Today: Early morning showers, some afternoon sun possible. High: 50.

Thursday: Risk for rain showers, perhaps mixed with a few snowflakes. High: 48.

Friday: Morning freeze, sunny. High: 48.
