Fall Harvest Hayride
When: Friday, 6 to 8:30 p.m. [Hay wagons will run continuously; however, the last boarding will take place at 8 p.m.]
Where: Lapping Park, Clarksville.
Fee: A donation of one canned good or non-perishable food item
Hop on one of the fall harvest hay wagons for a journey through Lapping Park. When the tractor stops at Endris Lodge, hop off, because that’s where you can warm up to the campfire and sing songs with campfire singers Cameron and Molly. The fee is a donation of one canned good or nonperishable food item. Visitors must park their cars at Wooded View Golf Course, 2404 Greentree North, Clarksville, and then take a short tractor-drawn hayride through the park. New this year, at 7 p.m., the Indiana Natural Resources Raptor Center at Hardy Lake will have three owls common to Lapping Park on display in the Lodge [sponsored by the Knob and Valley Audubon Society]. After their presentation, join us at 7:30 for an “Owl Prowl” where we will take a short hike while looking and listening for owls.
