Church hosting anniversary

First Southern Baptist Church of Floyds Knobs will sponsor a  50th anniversary celebration of Saturday, Nov. 17 and Sunday, Nov. 18.  

The church would like to extend an invitation to people who previously attended, pastored or worked at the church. The first event, A Night of Memories, will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday with a Thanksgiving meal to follow. This remembrance event will feature photographs, music and a sharing time from previous pastors. The anniversary and celebration service, will be from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, with a fellowship reception following where finger foods, cake and punch will be provided.  

The Anniversary and Celebration Service will feature a sermon by guest pastor David Wood. Childcare will be provided for both services for infants through five years old. A RSVP is requested for the Saturday evening Thanksgiving meal. Call 812-923-7905.
