H.S. BOYS' GOLF: Henryville loses regular-season finale

Davidson leads the Hornets with a 43

MEMPHIS — The Henryville boys’ golf team suffered a dual-meet loss to Trinity Lutheran at Champions Pointe Golf Club on Thursday in its regular-season finale, 179-184.

Freshman Luke Davidson led the Hornets with a 43. Henryville’s Mason Edwards, Cole Hairston and Bailey Reister each shot a 47 to round out the Hornets’ scoring.

“Luke has played consistent for us all year,” Henryville coach Robin Embry said. “But we need other guys to get their scores toward the low 40s.”

The Hornets will compete in the Madison Sectional on Monday at Sunrise Golf Club.
