LITTLE LEAGUE: District 5 Tournament photos

Rain postpones several games on Monday

NEW ALBANY — Two baseball games in the District 5 Tournament on Monday at Mount Tabor Park were suspended due to rain. As for the rest of the schedule on Monday, each game was postponed.

The two suspended contests — Highlander Youth Recreation vs. Clarksville 9-10 baseball and New Albany vs. Silver Creek 10-11 baseball — will resume at 5:30 p.m. today at Mount Tabor Park.

Here is the complete schedule for Tuesday. Softball games are being played at Grant Line Elementary School:

9-10 softball: Clarksville vs. Silver Creek, 5:30 p.m.

9-10 baseball: Clarksville vs. HYR, 5:30 p.m. (completion of suspended game from Monday)

10-11 baseball: New Albany vs. Silver Creek, 5:30 p.m. (completion of suspended game from Monday)

11-12 softball: New Albany vs. Jeff/GRC, 5:30 p.m.

11-12 softball: Silver Creek vs. Charlestown, 8 p.m.

13-14 softball: Jeff/GRC vs. New Albany, 7 p.m.

13-14 baseball: HYR vs. Jeff/GRC, 5:30 p.m.

9-10 softball: Jeff/GRC vs. Charlestown, 8 p.m.

13-14 baseball: Silver Creek vs. Charlestown, 8 p.m.

9-10 baseball: Charlestown vs. New Albany, 8 p.m.
