H.S. ROUNDUP: Christian Academy volleyball sweeps South Central

Falcone records 23 assists in Warriors’ victory

> SOUTHERN INDIANA — Christian Academy needed just three sets to beat South Central Friday evening.

The Warriors displayed strong defense and solid net control in the victory that raised their record to 20-6. Good passing was another key to the Warriors’ success as setter Alex Falcone distributed a game-high 23 assists.

“Alex Falcone did a good job moving the ball around and getting everybody involved,” Christian Academy coach Walter Pauly said of Falcones performance.

Emily Haworth was very productive filling the stat sheet with six kills, six aces, three digs, and also added a block.

“Overall, we played well” Pauly said. “We have a tough schedule next week and we need to maintain our focus coming into the final weeks of the season.”
