Jeff volleyball meeting

For any incoming freshman or anyone else interested in trying out for the Jeffersonville High School volleyball team this year, there will be an important informational meeting on Tuesday, April 30 in the Jeff High cafeteria, starting at 6 p.m.

Dowdell to compete in Australia

Jeffersonville senior Tyrell Dowdell has been invited to represent the state of Indiana on the West Central Conference track and field team at the 13th annual Down Under International Games on the Gold Coast of Australia this coming June. Dowdell got the invitation by earning a first-team selection on the Indiana State Track and Field Team.

Dowdell will spend seven days in Australia along with three days in Hawaii.

To make donations for Dowdell’s trip, mail them to the following address: Republic Bank, Tyrell Dowdell, 13th annual Down Under International Games, Track and Field, 3141 Highway 62, 812-282-1200, Jeffersonville, IN 47130. All donations must be submitted by Thursday, June 13.
