NEW ALBANY — 9-10 SOFTBALL

• Jeff takes care of Creek:
Jeff/GRC kept its undefeated record intact with a 16-0 victory over Silver Creek on Sunday. Jeff’s Kayla Ellis and Raegan Jones each came home three times.

• New Albany shuts out Clarksville: Olivia Licerio and Kayce Quinn provided the majority of the offense for New Albany as it blanked Clarksville, 10-0 on Sunday.

11-12 SOFTBALL

• Jeff’s Tincher a triple shy of cycle in win over Charlestown:
Jennah Tincher collected a home run, a double and two singles to lead Jeff/GRC over Charlestown, 17-2 on Sunday.

Jeff had 10 hits and 11 RBIs, while limiting Charlestown to only three hits.

The win clinched a place in the championship for Jeffersonville, which will face either New Albany or Charlestown in the title game.
