Silver Creek coach Darrell Kingery: “I was very pleased with the girls today. I had been looking forward to this meet because we had such a great week of practice. The girls wanted to defend their championship from last year and they did not disappoint. Everyone ran well — from top to bottom — and the nice thing is that we can and will still improve on this effort.  It was a good day to be a Lady Dragon cross country runner.

New Albany coach Paul Hamilton: “We had all 27 runners [both boys and girls] that raced the course get their personal best times of the season. We were proud of how our runners took advantage of mint race conditions on a fast course. Our younger inexperienced runners are continuing to improve by leaps and bounds.”
