BOYS’ PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Darryl Baker, Jeffersonville

Who else could it be? After 19 points in Friday’s 59-39 win over Floyd Central, Baker scored 31 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, in a 3-point victory over previously-unbeaten Providence on Saturday. Baker made 11 of his 18 field goal attempts, including 5-of-8 from behind the 3-point line, and was 4-for-5 from the foul line. He also led the Red Devils with four rebounds and three steals in the win over Providence.

• George Knott, Providence: 28 points on 12-of-17 shooting, six rebounds in Saturday’s 59-56 loss to Jeffersonville; team-high 11 points in Tuesday’s 47-34 win over Crawford County.

• Javen Reeves, New Albany: 13 points, seven rebounds in Friday’s 56-48 win over Madison; 12 points in Saturday’s 69-36 win over Scottsburg.

• Calvin McEwen, Clarksville: Team-high 17 points, including three 3-pointers, in Friday’s 55-46 overtime win over Corydon Central; 16 points in Saturday’s 63-56 win over Austin.

• Aaron Hayes, Christian Academy: 31 points in Saturday’s 63-58 loss to Dupont Manual.

• Jackson Logsdon, Floyd Central: 14 points on 6-of-13 shooting, two steals in Friday’s 59-39 loss to Jeffersonville; 11 points in 78-77 OT win over North Harrison on Saturday.

• DeVonta King, Christian Academy: 17 points, 13 rebounds in Saturday’s 63-58 loss to Dupont Manual.

• Drew Hussung, Floyd Central: 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting in Friday’s 59-39 loss to Jeffersonville; Game-high 17 points in Saturday’s 78-77 overtime win over North Harrison.

• Ian Hughes, New Washington: Team-high 18 points on Friday’s 61-46 win at Henryville; team-high nine points in Saturday’s 57-40 loss to Madison Shawe.

• Tyler Collins, Henryville: 21 points in Friday’s 61-46 loss to New Washington.
