Andrew Dohn Hershey Jr., 68; of Frankfort, Ky.
Funeral services for Andrew Dohn Hershey Jr., 68, of Frankfort, Ky., will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 25, at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home, Frankfort, Ky., with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Woodford County. He died Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Lincoln Hills Health Center, New Albany.
He was a native of Jeffersonville, born, May 9, 1941 and was a retired truck driver for Mercer Transportation, Louisville. He was a member of the Gospel Home Mission House of Prayer.
Survivors include his wife, Julia Elizabeth Brown Hershey; four sons, Stephen Andrew Hershey and wife, Marye, Alva Gene Hershey, Stephen Jesse Brown and Thomas Marshall Brown, all of Frankfort; two daughters, Donna Marie Hershey Johnson and husband, Darrell, of Indianapolis and Pamela Kay Hershey, of Frankfort; four brothers, Thomas “Tommy” Hershey and wife, Joanne, of Wisconsin, Douglas Hershey and wife, Annette, of Virginia, Jason Hershey and wife, Kathy, of Washington and Carl Hughes and wife, Chris, of California; six sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Burns and husband, Bob, of Louisville, Mindy Agee, of Clarksville, Janet Bradley and husband, Hershel, of Sonora, Andrea Keene and husband, Randy, of Georgia, Carla Douglas and husband, Greg, of Munfordville and Judy Minton and husband, Larry, of Alabama; grandchildren, Ashley Cummins, of Oklahoma, Andrea Danielle Hershey, of Frankfort, Katelyn Hershey, of Frankfort, Martha Hershey, of Frankfort, Shalyn Brown, of Carrollton and Cheryl Johnson and Leslie Hamm and husband, Devin, of Indianapolis; and one great-grandchild, Jaxin Hamm, of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Dohn Hershey Sr. and Virginia Sigwall Hershey; brothers, Michael Hershey and George Hershey; and stepmother, Evelyn Hershey.
Visitation at the funeral home will be today from 4 to 8 p.m.
