Denise A. Cullen Shaw, 53; of Floyds Knobs

A memorial services for Denise A. Cullen Shaw, 53, of Floyd Knobs, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 11, at Trinity United Methodist Church in New Albany. She died Monday, July 7, 2008, at her home.

She retired from Ivy Tech Community College as a student advisor and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Anne Cullen; and two sisters, Linda F. Mulloy and Kathy Toulon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel G. Shaw and her father Jack Cullen.

No visitation will be held. Cremation was chosen. The Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Trinity United Methodist Church or The Floyd County Animal Rescue League.
