James Robert Johnson

54; formerly of New Albany

James Robert Johnson, 54, of Land O Lakes, Fla., formerly of New Albany, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla.

He was a 1973 graduate of New Albany High School.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Joyce; a son, James Robert II; a daughter, Johanna Kristine; granddaughter, Caitlyn; grandson, Eric; sister, Kayren Evers; and father, Harold, all of Land O Lakes, Fla.; his mother, Frances, of South Carolina; and many loving family members and friends.

He was one of a kind and will be missed tremendously by many whose lives he touched.

Burial will be in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
