Katrina K. Bard, 45; of Jeffersonville

Katrina K. Bard, 45, of Jeffersonville, died Monday, July 7, 2008, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Survivors include her sons, John Ryan Bard, Smyrna, Ga. and James Tyler Bard, Jeffersonville; mother and stepfather, Mary and Clarence Higdon, Jeffersonville; sister and nephew, Cathy and Nicholas Mitchell, Jeffersonville; and sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and Harry Fitzpatrick, Allen, Texas.

Family and friends are welcome to an open house to celebrate her life, 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 12, at the home of her mother and stepfather, 815 Larkspur Dr., Jeffersonville.

Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, is in charge of the arrangements.
