Leatrice Joy Beville Heacock, 78; former Jeffersonville resident

A memorial service for Leatrice Joy Beville Heacock, 78, of Louisville, formerly of Jeffersonville, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Hillsdale Baptist Church, Louisville. She died Saturday, July 5, 2008, at her daughter’s home.

She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a member of St. Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Heacock and wife, Betty, Philip Heacock and wife, Stephanie and John Heacock and wife, Kathy; daughters, Millie Miller and husband, J.C., Jan Hester and husband, Jim and Ellen Shaw and husband, Frank; 20 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Heacock; and their son, Eddie Heacock.

Foreman Funeral Home, Jeffersontown, is handling arrangements.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus.
