Juliet B. ‘Judy’ Scott, 87; of Sellersburg
Funeral services for Juliet B. “Judy” Scott, 87, of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at the Garr Funeral Home, with interment in Sellersburg Cemetery. She died Sunday, July 13, 2008, at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was a native of Lebanon, Ky., the daughter of Marion L. and Bessie Arnold Hodgen. She worked at Silver Creek High School cafeteria for several years as a cook and was a charter member of the Sellersburg First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Ed Scott, of Floyds Knobs; daughter, Sharon Scott Hansford, of Clarksville; sisters, Mary Ann Hardin, of Springfield, Ky. and Mildred Browning, of Lexington, Ky.; brothers, Robert Hodgen, of Springfield, Ky. and Russell Scott and wife, Norma, of Sellersburg; granddaughters, Tonya Thomas and Andrea Waiz; and great-grandchildren, Lexie, Trenton, Jackson and Brayden.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Sellersburg First Baptist Church.
