Robert L. ‘Bobby’ Bostock, 68; U.S. Navy veteran

Funeral services for Robert L. “Bobby” Bostock, 68, of New Albany, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 18, at Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann and Naville Funeral Homes, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Monday, July 14, 2008, at Lincoln Hills Healthcare Center, New Albany.

He was a chef with Jewish Hospital for 24 years, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Cornerstone Evangelical Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Helen R. Bostock; a daughter, Deborah Chaffin, of New Albany; three sons, Thomas Bostock, of New Albany and David and Michael Bostock, of Atlanta; a sister, Janet Montana, of Washington State; an aunt, Faye Neal, of Crown Point; and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Mildred B. Bostock, a brother, James W. Bostock; and a sister, Becky Sue Bostock.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 17.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Hosparus or The American Cancer Society.
