Kathleen ‘Kay’ Wiseman Pedit, 83; formerly of Henryville
A memorial service for Kathleen “Kay” Wiseman Pedit, 83, of Avon Park, Fla., formerly of Henryville, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel, followed by burial of her ashes in St. Frances Cemetery, Henryville. She died Sunday, July 6, 2008, in Florida.
She was a native of Louisville, formerly worked in the powder bag sewing room at I.C.I. Americas in Charlestown, the KFC Restaurant in Jeffersonville, and the old Wheel Restaurant in Sellersburg.
She is survived by her husband, Bernard Pedit, of Avon Park, Fla.; two sons, James L. Wiseman and his wife, Sharon, of Jeffersonville and Jerry Wiseman and his wife, Treena, of New Albany; a daughter, Cheryl Rapp and her husband, Richard, of Louisville; a brother, Wilbur Lewis and his wife, Shirley, of Marshall, Ill.; two brothers-in-law, Charles Stottman, of Louisville and Chesley Burden, of LaGrange, Ky.; a stepson, Byrne Pedit, of California; three step daughters, Andrea Pedit, of Indianapolis, Holly Pedit, of Washington, and Jolie Pedit, of California; two grandsons, Anthony James Rapp and his wife, Heather, of Ashland, Ky. and James Andrew Wiseman, of Louisville; three granddaughters, Kristy Michelle Wiseman, of Sellersburg, Mary Ann Sebastian and her husband Justin, of Dry Ridge, Ky. and Kayla Sue Wiseman, of Jeffersonville; and a great grandson, Ethan Andrew Rapp, of Ashland, Ky.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Scott Wiseman.
Visitation at the funeral home will be Saturday, July 19, from 11 a.m. to funeral time.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arnesan Avenue, Auburndale, Fla. 33823.
