James “Jim” Joseph Petri

James ‘Jim’ Joseph Petri, 65; Sellersburg

James “Jim” Joseph Petri, 65, of Sellersburg, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at his home.

He was born in New Albany, retired from GBMC as a master plumber and he enjoyed life.

Survivors include his wife, Claudia Petri; four children, Phillip Petri and his wife, Jamie, Sellersburg, Christopher Petri and his wife, Belinda, Jeffersonville, JoAnna Marquess and her husband, Ben, Sellersburg and Seana Petri, Tulsa, Okla.; 10 grandchildren, Mackenzie Petri, Gabriel Petri, Daniel Marquess, Christopher Marquess, Makaela Marquess, Seamus Marquess, Zoe Marquess, Chandler Petri, Lindsey Petri and Alexander Petri; three sisters; and two brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Pearl Petri.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m., Sunday, July 20, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel.
