Mary C. Von Allmen, 94; Floyds Knobs

Funeral services for Mary C. Von Allmen, 94, Floyds Knobs will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 21, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville, 1119 East Market St., New Albany, with burial in Atkins Chapel UMC Cemetery, Floyds Knobs. She died Wednesday, July 16, 2008, at her residence.

She was the former Mary Payne, a native of Floyd County and a member of Atkins Chapel United Methodist Church in Floyds Knobs. She retired from the New Albany-Floyd County School Corporation where she was employed as a cafeteria worker for several years.

Survivors include her sons, Robert L. Von Allmen, Floyds Knobs, and Stephen D. Von Allmen, Atlanta; daughters, Gloria McCampbell, Floyds Knobs, and Debra Von Allmen, Henryville; a sister, Virginia Perkins, New Albany; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert A. Von Allmen.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 20.
