James L. Roche, 63; of New Albany

James L. Roche, 63, of New Albany, died July 4, 2008.

He was a native of New Albany and formerly worked construction.

Survivors include his sons, Joseph L., James S. and John M. Roche; daughters, Rachel McMahan and Dana R. Lewis; half-brother, Oscar L. Bateman.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.

Paul V. Shrader Funeral Home in New Albany is in charge of arrangements.
