Wilma M. Jeffries, 70; of Jeffersonville

Funeral services for Wilma M. Jeffries, 70, of Jeffersonville, will be at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 28, at Coots Funeral Home, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at University of Louisville Hospital, Louisville.

She was born Sept. 6, 1937, to the late Edward and Beulah Bowman Early. She was a production worker of the former H.J. Scheirich Company, Blitz Company and FireKing.

Survivors include her husband, Wallace E. Jeffries Sr., Jeffersonville; son, Wallace E. Jeffries Jr., Jeffersonville; daughter, Teresa L. Tetley, Jeffersonville; sisters, Katherine Forace, Cedar Rapids, Mich., Anna Muriel Christian, New Albany, and Janice Alexander, Charlestown; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be at the funeral home was from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27.
