Curtis L. Hargrave, 46; 1980 graduate of Charlestown High School

Funeral services for Curtis L. Hargrave, 46, of Milltown, will be at 5 p.m. today, Friday, Aug. 29, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel, with cremation to follow. He died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at Clark Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of American Legion Post 335, Charlestown and a 1980 graduate of Charlestown High School.

Survivors include a sister, Connie Sue Davidson, Ft. Pierce, Fla.; a niece, Lea Vitito, Georgetown; a nephew, Donald Thomas Firkins, Clarksville; a grand niece, Destiny Ann Vivito, Georgetown; three grand nephews, Josh Thomas, Emil Bryan and Tyler Michael, Georgetown; and his grandmother, Margaret Curtis, Fredericksbug, Va.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas R. Hargrave Jr. and Sharon Ann Rager Hargrave.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributiosn to the Veterans Affairs and Walter Reed Hospitals. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
