Mary H. Dismore, 81; of New Albany

Funeral services for Mary H. Dismore, 81, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville, Ky., with burial in Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. She died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, in New Albany.

She was a native of Shelby County, Ky. She was a retired office manager for Home Federal Savings and Loan of Austin and had also been a secretary at the Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Shelbyville and a homemaker. She also was an avid reader.

Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Snelling and husband, Randy, Floyds Knobs; a son, Terry Dismore and wife, Renne, Columbus, Ohio; and her grandchildren, Kristi and Sarah Deich, both of New Albany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Albert Robertson and Lettie Robertson.

Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the charity of choice.
