Hazel D. Cunningham

89; of Corydon

Memorial services for Hazel D. Cunningham, 89, of Corydon, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Heidelberg United Methodist Church, 2210 West Heidelberg Road SW, Corydon. She died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center, Corydon.

She was a native of White County. She was born Sept. 4, 1920, to the late Eddie and Elma Harper Deen. She was a member of Heidelberg United Methodist Church in Corydon, the Women’s Church Club, the Homemakers Club, and the Indiana Farm Bureau.

Survivors include her daughters, Kay Windell of Mauckport and June Waiz of Floyds Knobs; stepson, Keith Cunningham of Arizona; stepdaughter, Sandra Bardford of Ohio; sisters, Patty Bocard of Corydon and Fern Roderick of Green Bay, Wis.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Cunningham; and her stepson, Gene Cunningham.

Visitation will be at the church after 1 p.m. Saturday.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to her church.

Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home, Corydon, is in charge of the arrangements.
